Concord

The funny thing about something you don't do every day is that even though you know what you need to do, it can be difficult to remember where to start. Concord is an exciting new program that you don't necessarily use on every call. Even in the midst of Maintenance Fee Season you may not use Concord every day, much less every call like you do with most of your systems.

The good news is, not a lot has changed in the processes, beyond navigating the system. Remember, everything you do in Concord is at your fingertips through MySource.

Logging in, passwords, and accessing an Owners account is covered under:
Marriott Vacation Club > Systems > Concord Interlink

All of your Concord procedures are detailed in MySource as well under:
Marriott Vacation Club > Financial Services > Maintenance Fees

The biggest change to our procedures is waiving late fees and interest. Since waiving fees is an exception that we make as a courtesy to the Owner, guidelines must be followed to avoid a costly error.

Waiving Late Fees/Interest Qualifications

  • You may only waive up to $25 maximum. This is for every deeded ID/contract.
  • Owners are only eligible to have fees waived if they have not had fees waived in the past two years.
  • Owners must agree to pay the remaining balance in full at the time of submitting the waive request.
  • Please follow the guidelines as to what is an acceptable reason to waive late fees/interest.

Remember we now complete the waive procedure before taking payment for the remaining balance due, and that a General Note in Concord is required after waiving the fee.

If there is any reason the Owner is unwilling or unable to pay the remaining balance due after waiving the late fee (unable to process CC for example) you must follow the reverse the waive procedure in MySource.
