What does it mean to be a brand champion? A brand champion is one who celebrates and encourages enthusiasm for a brand. So how can you be a brand champion?

Know your brand. What is Marriott Vacations Worldwide, and what do we, as Owner Services, represent? Our Vision is to be the preferred provider of Vacation Ownership and personalized vacation experiences. Our Mission is to deliver unforgettable experiences that make vacation dreams come true. These ideals are what guide our brand every day. It is the experience that we provide as a company, how we define ourselves as a brand.

So how do we do that? We provide luxurious accommodations in high demand locations, and offer the best customer service in the business. Every day, you do something that affects an Owner's vacation, and in turn, affects their lives. At Owner Services, we provide more than a product; we provide an experience, aiding in vacation planning and paving the way for amazing vacation experiences.

Take pride in your product. What does it mean to you when you tell your friends and family where you work? Not every day will feel like the best day ever; hard work is hard work, but by taking pride in what we do every day as a company, that pride reflects in your work, and in our Owners excitement.

It means knowing that they not only have a quality place to stay on their vacations, but that they will receive the best customer service guiding them through the widest range of vacation experience options, and personalized care on every call.

Look for what's good. Take a close look at what the MVW Brand is today. We don't just offer our Owners a place to stay once a year – we provide the tools for building vacations, the place that memories are made, and hearts are recharged. As you know, vacations are not easy to plan. Our Owners rely on us to be the experts that they can turn to when they aren't sure where to go, what to do, or how the product works. Look at the great work you do every day, and remember to take some pride in that effort. Most of what we do each and every day is educate our Owners on how they can use our products to make their dream vacations happen, and remind them of all the great things that we can offer. Most of our Owners only know one side of our product; you are their resource for discovering all that we can offer.

Share what you know. The most important thing we can do as a representative of Owner Services and being a brand champion of our product is to share what we know with our Owners, and our potential Owners. Offer suggestions, share ideas, and help your Owner really know what they've purchased, and remind them why. Vacations are fun. By reminding your Owner what they purchased, they discover why they purchased, and help our business grow.

The more you know about what we offer, the more you can share, and the better the opportunity to make each point of contact an exciting, rewarding experience for our Owners.
