Club Point & Overlay Point Redenomination

CLUB POINTS
Today, Marriott Vacation Club, Asia Pacific and other Marriott Vacation Club^® holiday ownership products operate on different point scales. To move closer to making your global travel with Marriott Vacation Club seamless, we will redenominate your Club Points to align with the point denomination of the other Marriott Vacation Club holiday ownership product. This will be a one-time adjustment where the amount of holiday time you will receive for your Club Points annually will be the same*, but your Club Points will be divided by a factor of ten.

For example, if your current annual allocation is 33,000 Club Points, as of 31 December 2015, you will have 3,300 Club Points.

Please be assured we will adjust Club Point levels for all aspects of Marriott Vacation Club, Asia Pacific to ensure that this redenomination will not change your usage, costs or ability to reserve annual holiday time.

OVERLAY POINTS
If you also own a week at Marriott's Phuket Beach Club or Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club and you have enrolled your week in the Marriott Vacation Club, Asia Pacific's Club Point Overlay Program ("CPOP"), as of 31 December 2015, the amount of Overlay Points that you will receive after the Club Points redenomination will also be divided by a factor of ten (in the same way as will be done for your Club Points).

For example, if you previously received 40,250 Overlay Points for your 2BR MA Platinum week at Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club, as of 31 December 2015, you will receive 4,025 Overlay Points.

Once again, please be assured we will adjust Club Point levels for all aspects of Marriott Vacation Club, Asia Pacific so that this redenomination will not change your usage, costs or ability to reserve annual holiday time under CPOP.
