It's easy to go online to search for availability and book your next stay at one of your fabulous Club Resort Properties: Marriott's Phuket Beach Club, Marriott's Mai Khao Beach – Phuket, Marriott's Grand Chateau^®, Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club, Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club or Marriott Vacation Club at The Empire Place^©.

Here's how:

1. Log on to VacationClubAP.com.
2. Locate the Holiday Planning Tool on the right side of the page.
3. Choose your preferred Club Resort Property, room type, check-in date, number of nights and number of guests.
4. Click the "Check Availability" button.
5. If there are rooms available, you can confirm the reservation immediately! If there isn't a room available on your preferred night, you'll see a calendar that shows availability on other nights.

Why? I would like to visit the Karuizawa Marriott Hotel in Japan. The hotel is located in a quiet district in Karuizawa, a popular resort encompassing a rich natural environment and chic townscape. As a Member, you may choose offerings from the world's most popular cruise lines, such as Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian and Celebrity^†. Standard cruises are 3,500 Club Points and Premier Plus Exclusive cruises are 6,500 Club Points per stateroom, based on double occupancy, plus an additional variable cash amount per person, depending on the cruise.

Visiting Vietnam

Vietnam is a beautiful country bursting with culture, history and gorgeous scenery. If you're planning a holiday in Ho Chi Minh City, check out these tips for enhancing your Vietnam getaway:

• The country has several distinct climate zones, so make sure you're packing for the right weather.
• You'll find complimentary Wi-Fi at most hotels, shops, restaurants and convenience stores.
• Vendors often overcharge tourists, so don't be afraid to bargain vigorously for street food and market goods. Also, request prices ahead of time so you're not surprised by a scam.
• Avoid drinking tap water and instead opt for bottled water that hasn't been kept out in the sun.
• When visiting temples, religious sites and private dwellings, dress modestly and appropriately according to local custom.
• Many museums are closed on Mondays and Fridays, so check the opening hours before you go.
