Member Services would like to communicate a change in the reservation rules relating to the cancellation policy for reservations of Extended Occupancy Time.

On Friday November 9, 2018 the Members Committee met with representatives of the Manager in London. During the meeting, the Members Committee requested a modification to the Extended Occupancy reservation rules with a view to improve short time availability.

Further to the Members Committee approval, the Manager agrees to amend the reservation rules relating to the Extended Occupancy Time as follows:

• Current cancellation policy applicable to Extended Occupancy Time:
  Members shall be entitled to cancel reservations for Extended Occupancy Time by 18:00 hours local London time on the date of arrival.
  
• Cancellation policy applicable to Extended Occupancy Time from April 1, 2019:
  Members shall be entitled to cancel reservations for Extended Occupancy Time no later than three (3) days prior to the date of arrival.
  

This change is intended to reduce the number of short-term cancellations which in turn should have a positive impact on availability.

The revised reservation rules including the new cancellation policy shall take effect from April 1, 2019 and will be applied to all Extended Occupancy Time reservations requested thereafter. All other reservation rules are unchanged.
