When can I modify or cancel a reservation?
Owners may cancel a reservation 61 days prior to arrival and receive a full refund of Vacation Club Points.
Owners who used Premium Points (20% more Vacation Club Points) to confirm a vacation with the Advanced Priority Reservation Window, who later cancel or modify the reservation to less than the original number of nights, will have the additional 20% of Vacation Club Points used placed into a Holding Account. If an Owner used Premium Points to confirm a reservation with the Advanced Priority Reservation Window, and they cancel this reservation within 60 days of check-in, the Premium Points will be forfeited.
If an Owner cancels a reservation within 60 days of check-in, the Vacation Club Points used for the reservation will be returned in a Holding Account.
Any modification to a reservation for the length of stay within a different booking window will result in the refunded Vacation Club Points being placed in a Holding Account. For example, if an Owner makes a 7-night reservation 12 months in advance, and then later reduces the vacation to 5 nights once within the 10-month booking window, the difference in Vacation Club Points used for this 7-night reservation will be returned in a Holding Account.
Vacation Club Points placed in a Holding Account may not be banked or transferred, and will expire at the end of the applicable Use Year. Vacation Club Points placed in a Holding Account may only be used to reserve a vacation within 60 days of check-in.
Cancelling a reservation on the day of check-in will result in Vacation Club Points being forfeited.
